Latest Event Held At Northern Virginia Baptist Center
Some pictures of the Faggins/Epperson Family Reunion held at NVBC Saturday, 5/25/24. It was a great success. Rev. William Grant was a great help in deep cleaning the Kitchen and making sure that the water heater was working properly. The Thursday Volunteers assisted in moving chairs and other excess equipment to storage to clear out the Dining Room for use. Ben helped clean the refrigerator, clear out the trash, as well as touched up the floors in the Kitchen. and The Wi-Fi was used for their registration and other reports.
They cooked a Brunswick Stew in the large pot for about 4.5 hours. It was great!!! Also, they had pig feet from a farm near Petersburg, and homemade venison bologna. Of course, they had the traditional ribs, hot dogs, hamburger, chicken, mac and cheese, potato salad, homemade sweet potato pies, salads, cakes and more.
There was moon bounce, volleyball, sock toss, music and other recreation. The family worked very well together showing much respect, cooperation, and family unity.
I thank all of you for your support and work behind the scenes to help make this event a success for all involved.
